Welcome to FMA

The Office of Financial & Management Analysis (FMA) is concerned with the approximately three-fifths of Berkeley's current funding that is not provided by the State of California. This includes funding for extramurally sponsored projects, auxiliary enterprises and other self-supporting activities. The office analyzes the costs of these activities, prepares indirect cost proposals, serves as an information resource on University and federal cost regulations, and acts as a contact point for federal financial staff.
